Progress Report to our Clients, Friends and Associates
We are very happy to report that in 2008 we exceeded all of our expectations and this report is intended to share our success with you and to thank you for making it possible.
Le Skintique has kicked-off several advertising campaigns last year using our web site at www.leskintique.com with beautiful art work provided by Jason Pires, MVC Agency and introducing CBS Outdoor Bill Boards advertising our full service spa at several main intersections in Inglewood, (Lacienga & Centinela Avenue), and in Los Angeles Hughes Promenade. We got a very good response.
Staff
We offer a full line of beauty services. Including haircutting, hairstyling, coloring, and permanent waving Le Skintique Hair Stylists, provide services for a select clientele they are Nina Glover, Assistant Ticia Stanford, Dina Lavender, Skin Specialist, Regina Jackson, and Nail Technician Von Christmas. All provide cutting edge services for women, men and teen-agers.
We at Le Skintique provide the same quality and up-scale services offered at salons in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and San Francisco. However due to their large overhead these salons charge much more for their services. Because we don't have the large over-head that these other salons have we can pass on the savings to our customers. Regina continues to give free skin analysis with the most detail-oriented and thorough, yet relaxing facials.
Reversing Wrinkles
Thankfully, there are many treatments we provide to get us closer to the fountain of youth; consequently we do many Microdermabrasion facials which minimize the appearance of wrinkles by rejuvenating skin and rebuilding healthy collagen cells. Other skin care trends are Facial oxygen technology, Micro Current Facials, Skin Peels, European Facials, Epicuren Enzyme Protein Treatments and full body waxing services.
Waxing
Waxing is a relatively simple and efficient method for temporarily removing hair from the face and body. We offer it both for men and women . This service is growing and is offered by our highly skilled Skin specialist Regina who does a superb job.
Waxing and Cross-Contamination
When considering the issue of cross-contamination, it is important to remember that the therapist's attitude toward hygiene play a very important role. To eliminate the risk of cross-contamination .
The Therapists
• Wears protective gloves throughout the treatment
• Washes hands with an anti-bacterial wash before and after touching the client's skin.
• Ensures that new spatulas are used on each client
• Ensures that other items used (such as tweezers) have been sterilized
Re-dipping used (contaminated) spatulas back into the way pot – an unhygienic practice at the best of times, but especially so when treating underarm and bikini areas that are prone to bleeding and life with bacteria.
Here at Le Skintique's way is transfer from a larger pot into smaller pot for each client.
Retail
Our services grew with the addition of our Boutique where you were sure to find a jazzy cute pair of earrings for your mom, sister or girl friends and funky hand bags for yourself. We are adding more retail to our boutique (Skin, Hair, Body Products and Make-Up). Also purchase Dermalogica products and receive 20% discount.
