We
Promote Outstanding Service To Build Customer Loyalty
It
is our policy to make sure our client’s needs are met
and that our customers are satisfied. It all comes down
to one simple word ATTITUDE. We try to not bring bad
moods or negative emotions to the salon by keeping a
consistent positive attitude.
We understand that to continue to get Customer loyalty
is driven by what your perception of the value to you
received at Le Skintique. The products or service is
part of that value, of course. And let’s not forget
that price is still a consideration. But increasingly,
customer experiences are a substantial part of perceived
value, too. In fact, customers ranked quality of experiences
as equally important to earning their loyalty as the
core product or service they purchased.
Excerpts from Sun Damage
to the Skin Submitted by the Cleveland Clinic: MedicineNet.com
What causes skin cancer?
Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun is the number
one cause of skin cancer, but UV light from tanning
beds is just as harmful. Exposure to sunlight during
the winter months puts you at the same risk as exposure
during the summertime.
How does the sun change my skin?
Cumulative sun exposure causes mainly basal cell and
squamous cell skin cancer, while episodes of severe
sunburns, usually before age 18, can cause melanoma
later in life. Other less common causes are repeated
X-ray exposure, scars
from burns
or disease and occupational exposure to certain chemicals.
Who is at risk for skin cancer?
Although anyone can get skin cancer, the risk is greatest
for people who have fair or freckled skin that burns
easily, light eyes and blond or red hair. Darker skinned
individuals are also susceptible to all types of skin
cancer, although their risk is substantially lower.
An abundance of large and irregularly-shaped moles
are at risk
Eye Safety
Over
30 percent of all eye injuries occur as a result of
people believing that their every-day glasses provide
adequate protection. This happens when some type of
debris makes its way around your glasses. (because it
doesn’t have side protection) or your experience a chemical
splash.
Up to 20 percent of all eye injuries occur when people
are doing home repairs or when using power tools, most
of which happen in the yard and garden. Wear those safety
goggles!
Choose goggles that fit comfortably, and if you already
wear glasses, make sure they fit easily over your glasses.
Your eyes are the secret to your soul.
Keep Your Computer
Safe in Public
Having WiFi makes it easy to stay connected, but this
is also prime real estate for criminals looking to steal
your data. Follow these tips to keep your information
secure:
- Keep your computer security software up to date. Most programs like Norton and McAfee update once a week.
- When you connected to a network, make sure it has the name of the establishment where you are. If it just says “Free” or “Public” this should be a warning to you. It is more than likely a hacker trap set up to lure in people who just “have to check my email now!”
- Don’t use sites where you input passwords or credit card information.
- Consider your own personal Wi-Fi in the form of a portable hotspot. They un about $60 a month, but you are much more secure than any public spot!
